ZAP's New SEASCOOTER™ "Too Much Fun!"

MIAMI (October 10, 2003) - Even veteran divers are convinced, the new SEASCOOTER™ from ZAP® (OTC BB:ZAPZ) is the best new product of the year.

This week advanced transport company ZAP is attending DEMA in Miami, the world's largest dive equipment trade fair with more than 14,000 attendees from around the world. The SEASCOOTER has become a best seller for ZAP, which has sold and rented thousands of SEASCOOTERS since its introduction just before the holidays last year.

The inexpensive, yet practical dive scooter is winning fans around the world. Veteran diver and freelance reporter Christopher Buttner took one for a spin to Bora Bora and had a blast running the SEASCOOTER through its paces.

"Every diver is always looking for methods of retaining their energy and air to explore interesting sites longer, instead of using all of their energy and air getting to the sites they want to explore. The SEASCOOTER is just the tool I was looking for," said Buttner.

The SEASCOOTER is the lightest, most affordable dive propulsion vehicle on the market. Divers, snorkelers and swimmers can hang on and let the torpedo-shaped scooter pull them through the water. The affordability of this new design is opening up the world of dive scooters to more than just the military or undersea exploration.

"The SeaDoo SeaScooter is quick," says Buttner. "At 2 MPH, I was able to run a complete lap around the group in the same time it took them to swim the full group-length of six end-to-end divers. I did get a lot of out-stretched hands wanting to try the SeaDoo and I obliged many… But not often. I was having too much damn fun with this thing."
