DRIVE SYSTEM:
ZAP Dual Motor Power Assist Program Dual, high efficiency, ceramic, permanent magnet direct current motors.
MOTORS:
High output, 5,000 RPM peak.Weight is seven pounds. Rider must to activate.
MOTOR CONTROLS:
Two-speed solid state/ electro-mechanical system. Spring loaded safety on/off trigger switch shuts off motor when released. Rider must pedal to activate.
BATTERY:
Sealed, maintenance-free, lead acid dry-cell 12v, 20ah battery is approximately 7”x7”x3” and weighs about 12.5 pounds.
BATTERY CONTAINER:
Battery bag is heavy duty nylon Cordura material with a large nylon zipper. Battery can be removed in seconds to the bicycle frame on the down tube and seat tube.
CHARGER:
Automatic, portable, six amp, quick charger plugs into standard electrical socket (110VAC).The maximum charging time is 3 hours.
SPEEDS:
Pedal assisted speeds are approximately 10 to 18 mph (180 pound rider). If you pedal more, you can go faster. Lighter riders may go faster, heavier may go slower.
RANGE:
Total range is dependent on terrain and rider input through pedaling.The standard battery is good for up to one hour of riding. Range is typically up to 15 miles (varies with pedaling, terrain, user weight and experience.)
WARRANTY:
One year limited. Some assembly required.
